Dear all, as u all wld have noe by now.. i wld be lving on a 2 wk trip to europe this sat nite.. I wld miss u all greatly.. especially the LHC ppl.. i might not be ard physically.. but i am wif u all spiritually.. kaoz.. i am damn crap... lol

The tomato story..

One fine day.. Tomato A and Tomato B decided to meet up and go shopping.. They agreed to meet at the local park and also reminded each other not to be late.. Tomato A arrived at the park on time but had to wait for Tomato B as she was late... Tomato A chided Tomato B on why she was late.. Tomato B said she was caught in a traffic jam... Tomato A decided to let the matter go.. But when they crossed the road.. they were knocked down by the lorry and both of them were squashed..

Singapore carpark going all automation!

OMG.. I was chilling out at China Sq juz now and when i was on my way back.. i passed by this totally cool automated car park that was located at Club Street. Its called M-park@Club Street if i can remb correctly.. Those that have watched Fast and Furious :Tokyo Drift wld noe wat i am toking abt.. U juz have to drive yr vehicle to this elevator kinda thingy.. den u lv yr car to the attendant.. he wld send it up to a slot within the car park via electronic means.. IMO... tats f***king cool.. Dun have any pics as yet.. but if u all interested in taking a look at that place.. its at Club Street..

Riding on waves..

I recently went up the Henderson Waves bridge.. the much touted very nice scenery bridge that is located at .. yah.. telok blangah.. i noe why they dun want to name it telok blangah.. coz they want to attract foreigners.. and TB waves juz sound so like a not tat cool bridge.. haha.. wld i be jailed or reprimanded for criticizing the name of the bridge..? It seems that the online space is not so non-governmental anymore.. wat u say is being tracked... not saying this is no good.. but isnt the web all abt personal spaces..? lol.. u noe..like Myspace..? pardon the pun..lol

Anyways back to henderson WAVES bridge.. i was so thrilled when the bridge was being constructed last year.. it looked real good frm my house.. yah i can see it frm my house.. dun be jealous.. lol.. joking.. BUT.. it was not realli tat cool after all.. the scenery was way more plainer den a donut w/o the sugar coating.. ALL u can see are trees, HDB flats and alot of cars.. lol.. and the view of the sea wasnt that stunning as well.. Maybe if the view was at nite.. it wld be better.. but i was totally DISAPPOINTED.. den again.. i wld go up the bridge at nite.. it sure look like a romantic place where couples can MO.. in the forest that comes b4 and after it.. much like the Dragon Trail in Sentosa.. LOL..

Tips for travelling up to the bridge..
1) Its pretty hot in the noon and evening.. so wear like and drink plenty of H2O
2)It wld seemed easier to go up from Alexandra rather than Harbour front there as the steps up Mt Faber is enuff to kill weak ppl like me b4 i even reach the bridge

And yah.. the bridge wld lit up at nite.. and its once again a fantastic view frm moi house..LOL..

It is a big yellow box

I was at XXX poly today and i muz say there are alot of Malays in there.. I am truely amazed that every 5 steps i took, i can see a bunch of malays walking past or hanging out.. lol.. And they smoke ard the campus as if there is no campus security controlling them.. So i can assume that XXX poly has a big yellow box surrounding them.. lol.. if u understand the joke tat is..

XXX poly makes me realise that thou it is a tertiary institution.. it is so different from NUS.. the way they dress and their culture.. lol.. and one striking feature.. malays there realli like to "lak" one corner.. chilling out and taking fotos.. lol.. and yah.. i am not trying to be racist here.. but realli.. first time seeing this kind of thing.. lol.. makes me feel weird..

Den even funnier.. on my way back.. there was this sec sch kid on the MRT wif me.. shld be sec 3 or 4 given the slacks he was wearing.. He was on the phone when the train reached Kranji.. den he said, " hah.. meet where..? kranji rite..? Den he alighted, b4 coming back in and said, "Oh.. okie.. Clementi arh.." lol.. i am like.. wtf.. kranji and clementi sounds the same meh..? Den the funny thing came.. we both reached jurong.. alighted... to different sides.. and he took the train bound for Boon Lay.... HAHA!! It was realli quite funny...

Today a girl told me she used to like to draw dragon ball characters when she was young.. When i asked her whom did she like to draw.. she said.. Sun Wu Di, son of sun wu kong.. LOL!!

Den i told her got a character called Sun Zhong San.. lol

Dragon Hunter

Today.. for no other apparent reasons except we are damn bored.. Grace and I went Sentosa to kill time while waiting respectively for each other's frens to have dinner. Actually, wanted to go to the beach to enjoy the sun, the sand and the sea.. but I chanced upon an off-road trail called the "dragon" trail.. It sounded mythical and fun enuff.. so we decided to make our way into the so called "dragon" trail..

The track was boring to say the least.. littered with "dragon" bones and human skulls.. woooohhh.. so scary sia.. and they even have carvings to convince us that dragons lived thousands of years ago and were killed by pirates in sentosa.. wooohhh.. so INTENSE... and yah there is also a mechanical dragon that opens its gigantic mouth every minute to spit out H2O... It looked as if it is salivating when it saw Grace.. lol.. or maybe vomitting.. lol... i dun noe.. but yah.. its quite lame anyways..

But overall it brought me back memories of the time I was in Tekong.. those jungle training where we had to trek and conceal ourselves.. well at least TK jungle looked more authentic to me.. lol

As we made our way back to civilisation at the Butterfly Park... I so wanted to try the Carlsberg tower, the luge and the sky-ride.. they looked totally awesome.. maybe someday i wld go back and try all again and yah.. also burn a hole in my pocket...haha

10am - 12pm : Surf net and watch ESPN

12-1pm : Eat lunch

1-2.30pm : Watch BBC news

2.30-5pm : LONG NAP...

6-7pm : Dinner

7-9pm : Watch TV

9pm till late : MSN + Dota

A day in the life of Tom. Usually during this period, he would be mugging.. but alas.. his Uni life have ended...

Sometimes..looking back at life.. I wished i had been a tad stronger and braver... and not fearing the consequences of things i wld like to do.. Due to this lame trait of me having to think twice and stimes thrice at stuff... I realised i had missed a lot of gd opportunities...

I realise I am such a total loser..

Today, i was watching Japan Hour and something realli funny caught my eyes or rather ears.. lol
Japan Hour is a food and relaxation infotainment program if u all dun noe wat issit... They have travellers goin ard those damn rural parts of Japan and tasting local dishes.. but this episode realli cracked me up...

I am damn proud to say Man U is just three points away from their consecutive EPL title after they beat Xi Ham 4-1!!! Juz a sour note.. all the trouble that prick Nani got himself into.. lol.. i doubt he wld feature in the UCL finals after his rendition of zidane on Lucas Neill... And haha, Wigan won as well.. tat can only mean they would more likely to be beaten by Man U on the last game day of the premiership season to hand the title to Man U on a platter..

Well, personally i muz say i tink Xi Ham kelonged today.. they kinda sux.. and everything seemed like its scripted.. lol.. so if this goes on.. i tink Steve Bruce would also give chance.. given that he is an ex manchester united player.. So i tink by midweek.. he wld do a curbishley and say... " it would be a pity should Man U do not win the epl.." which wld be followed by the expressionless ogre ( avram grant) to rant all abt wigan giving chance to Man U.. I only have 3 words for him.. he can go SHB..

Actually, Chelski can do themselves a favor by juz letting Newcastle beat their sorry asses on monday.. so I can celebrate earlier.. prepare the tissue papers.. especially for fat frank.. but yah.. no offence...

I have graduated

I cannot believe my 4 year journey in NUS is over.. The journey was tough, but it was also sweet and entertaining.. The exams and assignments nearly killed me.. but with frens ard .. its not really tat bad.. School Life rox man.. too bad.. everything has to come to a standstill.. which i wat i wld like to say," totally sucky"

Yapz, but life has to go on.. next on moi agenda would be finding a job.. LOL.. neva even bother to send out a decent batch of resumes till now.. no wonder everybody has a job liao.. and i am still an unemployed graduate. But more importantly, my europe trip is coming up and i tink that wld totally rox..!! I mean.. how can europe be not exciting.. besides that.. i am goin old trafford.. which is like my dream to be there..!!

And yah.. i turned a quarter century old on 27 Apr 2008.. tat made me feel kinda old.. coz by rounding up.. i am actually nearer to 30.. lol.. but guess my youthful nature still conceals the fact i am turning old.. haha..

juz wanna also say tat.. it had been an emotional trip this past 4 yrs.. it wld be a period i wld always remb... And i was realli emo the past few days.. guessed there were still some issues and stuffs tat i cannot lv rite at the back of my mind.. but well.. life does go on.. and slowly but surely.. things wld fade off w/o you even noticing it..

I wld continue to blog abt my life in NUS for the upcoming days.. the toils and the joys.. and some of the people and memories that wont be erased from my mind..
